The new compound series 277 30, 377 38 for ink rollers and 135 25 for dampening rollers achieved excellent resistance to common low-energy UV colors, and even against a lot of very aggressive UV inks for the area of non-absorbent substrates.
A special feature of these materials, namely, the excellent swelling resistance to aromatics-containing washing agents, makes the compounds successfull particularly in markets with a high proportion of these washing agents.
Böttcher has some installations in Japan (Komori and Heidelberg) with continued good results in operation since the summer of 2013. But also in Europe and the U.S., there are now many positive references with machines from all common manufacturers.
